    i wonder how some people could easily move on and love again after a heartbreak. i mean, yes, one might be able to love again after one failed love. but it would always be lesser.it wouldn’t be the same. it’s unfair, right? actions and feelings would be repressed because one is afraid to get hurt again for the same reasons. maybe it’s just like what other people say.. that to be able to find love again, you have to fix yourself first—physically and emotionally. you have to let go of all the things that hurt you and accept that no matter what you do, what’s gone is gone. someday, somebody would come into your life and make you feel that you’re special. make you feel that you’re the only one that matters and give you everything you ask for. but no matter what he does, no matter how much he could give you, as long as you’re still stuck up with your past, nothing will be enough. and you’d just end up hurting the only person who loved you that much. looking back, i regret that i let myself hold on to someone who’s already long gone. i regret that i practically wasted a lot of time being hung up on my wrong decisions. i pushed away everyone who tried to care. i shut off my world to anybody who tried to come close. it was unfair. but i knew, deep in my mind, that i shouldn’t wait for someone who’s not coming back. life goes on. mine should, too.

    I heard you were happy.

    well, I guess you’re really moving on with your life.

    without me.

    and I.

    I should, too.

    I should know that no matter what I do,

    no matter what I say,

    nothing will put things back to where it was before.

    nothing will ever put us back to what we were before.

    so.

    I just hope you’re happy.

    I sincerely hope you are happy.

    and I will be, too.
